Many misconceptions exist about the scale and proportion of a our solar system. Many of these false ideas make it into science textbooks in the form of diagrams which do not give an accurate representation of the scale and proportion of the solar system. In this session I will share a very fun and engaging activity you can do with your students to construct a scaled model of the solar system.
